MHC
The MHC gripper is ideal for use in applications requiring angular gripping. The opening angle ranges from 30 to -10 degrees. A double piston mechanism provides a large amount of gripping force, while maintaining a compact design. The MHC series has a built in speed adjustment and a recessed groove for auto switches.
Angular (180 Degree)
MHW
The MHW2 is ideal for applications where saving space is a necessity. In addition to its compact size, each one of the two fingers, synchronized by a rack and pinion, rotates back perpendicular to the gripper. In this position, the MHW2 will only require clearance for the body. While the fingers are retracted at a 180-degree angle, the gripper can be moved in an X-Y plane to the work.
MHY
The MHY2 is a compact 180-degree angular gripper. Its size and mass allow for small, lightweight tooling, while delivering large gripping forces via piston/cam design. The MHY2 gives you maximum installation flexibility with mounting options on 4 sides and recessed auto switch grooves on either side of the gripper. Precision reference points on body and fingers are standard.
Parallel-2 Finger
MHF
The MHF2 Series is a low profile air gripper, designed to save substantial space. The height of the MHF2 gripper is approximately 1/3 the size of an equivalent MHZ series gripper. Finger strokes are available in short, long, and intermediate for each size. High rigidity can be obtained due to adoption of linear guide.
MHK
The MHK2 series parallel gripper was designed to accommodate applications that require a high degree of accuracy in a wide range of environments. The finger action accuracy is accomplished through the use of a wedge cam mechanism, which allows repeat ability to +/-0.01mm and yields much higher axial load characteristics which permits use in insert press procedures. The gripper body is enhanced by a rear centering hole +/-0.1mm and two location pin holes with H9 tolerance. The MHK2 gripper is standard with a dust cover for protection against direct exposure to harsh environments (available in Chloroprene, Flouro, and Silicone Rubber) and has optional stainless steel fingers.
MHL
Series MHL air grippers are designed for applications that require a wide travel range of gripper fingers. The MHL is ideal for gripping many different sized parts. Finger motion is synchronized by a rack-and-pinion mechanism. The double piston construction creates a compact gripper with large holding force. Available in bore sizes 10, 16, 20, 25, 32 and 40. Axial mounting (tapped body or through hole) or lateral mounting options available. Auto switches can be integrally mounted.
MHQ
The series MHQJ2 offers specially designed dust covers that protect internal parts from contamination. Three boot materials are available for different applications. The standard rubber (CR) is for general-purpose applications. Fluororubber (FKM) is recommended when the gripper will be subjected to cutting oil, etc. A silicone rubber (Si) model is suitable for clean room and food industry applications. Switches can be integrally mounted. The MHQJ2 comes in bore sizes 10, 16, 20 and 25.
MHR
Series MHR2 finger gripper features high precision centering and high repeatability. A double acting rotary actuator and precision ball bearings permit smooth action without vibration. Series MHR3 finger gripper features high precision centering and high repeatability. A double acting rotary actuator and precision ball bearings permit smooth action without vibration.
MHS
The MHS is the latest in the family of rotary operated parallel style grippers. This compact gripper is available in 10 different bore sizes with choices of 2, 3 and 4 fingers which generate gripping forces up to 1270 N. Pinholes are incorporated as standard, facilitating accurate mounting which is achieved through either body tapped or through-hole mounting. By using a wedge cam construction to attach the fingers to the rotary actuator a more compact design is achieved, as well as high repeatability of 0.01 mm. Auto switches can be simply attached via the standard built-in grooves.
MHZ
The MHZ2 series is a standard type parallel air gripper, taking the place of the MHQ(G)2 series. A linear guide provides high rigidity and high accuracy. MHZ2 can operate under higher pressure even at a larger holding point and overhang. High degree of mounting precision is achieved and mounting repeatability is improved.
Parallel-3 Finger
MHR
Series MHR3, 3-finger gripper features high precision centering and high repeatability. A double acting rotary actuator and precision ball bearings permit smooth action without vibration. Mounting can be done from 3 directions; axial side, lateral side or vertical side. The MHR3 series is applicable for clean room class 10.
MHS
These grippers utilize a wedge cam design to minimize their size yet retains a high holding force. The small size of the units makes them well suited for end-of-arm or space constrained pick-and-place applications. The three-finger design of the MHS3 makes it ideal for gripping round objects and loading or unloading items from the chuck of a machine tool.
Parallel-4 Finger
MHS
These grippers utilize a wedge cam design to minimize their size yet retains a high holding force. The small size of the units makes them well suited for end-of-arm or space constrained pick-and-place applications. Round or square objects work well with the four-finger MHS4.
Escapement
MIS
Series MIS is a one-finger type escapement. The MIS has independent fingers for free setting of timing and mounting position to accommodate the work pieces moving down a line. Supply ports on both sides allow selection of piping direction. Separation of the piston and fingers allows easy replacement of fingers for maintenance. Three different finger variations make it possible to freely select attachment mounting surfaces on the fingers.
MIW
Series MIW is a slider guide cylinder, with two sequentially operating fingers. The sequential operation uses a mechanically interlocking cam mechanism in addition to control of air passage to the pistons for reliable separation of work pieces. Separation of the piston and fingers allows easy replacement of fingers for maintenance. Three different finger variations make it possible to freely select attachment mounting surfaces on the fingers.
Toggle
MHT
Series MHT is designed to give reliable gripping support. The toggle mechanism holds, even when air pressure drops. When the gripper fingers are closed, the toggle mechanism is actuated to produce a strong and stable holding force. The MHT is easy to maintain, and all external parts are treated to resist corrosion. Threaded mounting holes in the gripper's body and finger housing allow a variety of mounting positions. Switches can be integrally mounted. Bore sizes include: 32, 40, 50 and 63.
Miscellaneous
MA
Developed to meet the most advanced need for factory automation, the AHC (Automatic Hand Changing) system automatically changes robot hand tools according to works in different shapes, thus materializing FMS (Flexible Manufacturing System) in the assembly line. Tools are attached/detached automatically. Thus trouble- some tool exchange work is dispensed with, and tool exchange time can be cut substantially.
ZAYTRAN
ZAYTRAN specializes in developing products for use in extreme environments. The MAGNUM series grippers are manufactured from tough, corrosive resistant materials that enable the gripper to function in harsh environments. SIGMA and XRAY grippers were developed for applications that impart high acceleration to heavy objects or require long, precisely positioned jaws.
